Well, there’s a first time for everything - and photographing and designing a giant mascot whale calendar definitely checked a new box.

To celebrate Carvel Ice Cream’s 90th anniversary, I was asked to capture their beloved icon, Fudgie the Whale, in all his soft served glory. What followed was two days of absolutely unhinged whale weirdness, resulting in a series of photos that made waves throughout Carvel-land.
